AboutParwanipur is an industrial satellite town of Birgunj, Nepal's main entry point from India, where the Jyoti Group of companies wanted a school for its workers' children and nearby villages and offered five acres of land through Msgr. Antony Sharma. A memorandum was signed with Nepal Little Flower Society on 1 December 2003, but the Maoist insurgency delayed work; Fr. Thomas Thalachira became the first Superior and Principal, and the SABS Sisters (Kanjirappally Province) joined in 2005. Little Flower School opened on 24 April 2005 in a Jyoti Group building with 104 children from LKG to Class One. The mission also serves as a quasi-parish for about 30 Catholic families, with pastoral care extending to Simra, where the SABS Sisters run a convent and school.Superior Fr.
