Khrist Jyoti Province
Khrist Jyoti Province is a missionary province of the Little Flower Congregation (CST Fathers), carrying forward a tradition of evangelization, pastoral service, social commitment, and human development. Inspired by the vision of its founder, Very Rev. Fr. Basilius Panat CST, the Congregation continues its mission of “Be Little, and Serve the Little.”
The CST mission in Punjab began in 1973 and expanded to Rajasthan in 1982, responding to the pastoral and social needs of people in these regions. Through dedicated missionaries, the Province has established parishes, mission stations, educational institutions, formation centres, and various social ministries.
The Punjab-Rajasthan mission was successively elevated to a Region in 1992, a Vice-Province in 2000, and finally a Province in 2003, taking the name Khrist Jyoti Province.
Today, the Province continues its journey through collaboration with dioceses, religious congregations, catechists, and local communities. Guided by faith, service, compassion, and a commitment to human dignity, Khrist Jyoti Province seeks to build communities rooted in love, justice, equality, and hope.
